I have an announcement to make and I feel like I should give a medical disclaimer before I announce this:

**If you have a heart problem, dizzy spells, shortness of breath or think David Hinds looks good (I had to include that one because it’s a strong symptom that you have lost your vision)…then please do not read further.**

Zach Padgett is hanging out with the guys this Saturday for a round of golf! Barring Hurricane Ike does not re-form in Nova Scotia and head back this way, Zachary Dean Padgett will be making an appearance!!!! Please show your support in the comments section.

As you already know, I am kind of a big deal. I want what is best for the people and that calls for each candidate to come and meet me personally. Obama has yet to make his way to me but McCain made it one of his first stops on the campaign trail. You don’t believe me? Look at the pic:

You can see with his body language that he is stumping for my approval. I got to tell ya John….it is gonna take more than a photo op for me to swing my allegiance. Obama, call my people and we will schedule a meeting….

Pretty compelling stuff but obviously very biased. Being biased is fine, as long as the message is the truth. I really enjoyed the video. For those who don’t agree with it…post a link to a rebuttal video in the comments section

It’s that time of year again and it is always bitter sweet. Don’t think I’m about to get sissified and reflective on you, I just wanted to warn everyone. This is the last big weekend and blowout at the lake every summer. This is that weekend where you have to leave it all out on the water. You don’t come in until the game warden says so.

There should be big air, little scare, and you there.

For those of you who read the name Rooks on this blog and don’t know who that is…it is Brooks Richard. He has been everyone’s little brother since his freshman year in high school. It just brings a tear to my eye to see that he has finally “made it”. I am not referring to him graduating from college this past weekend after a strong 7 years, but actually referring to him being featured on the The Dirty . com:

• Katherine “KP” Barnett recently had a b-day but we don’t count it in numbers any more
• Little Jurassic JS Bearden is turning the BIG 4 this weekend.
• My little neph Lucas can fake sneeze on cue. That is advanced, I don’t care what you say.
• “Mad Money” Mike Albanese and Nicole “Sikki” Wingate got engaged this past Friday. Congrats! (I put it at the bottom because I may not be at liberty to make the announcement for them)
