I have to end this thing at a tie of 76 to 76. I think it is only fitting because this proves what we all knew…..

THEY BOTH SUCK.

For those of you that are skeptical, I can promise you that I had no way of fixing the vote. If someone found a cheat, then it is news to me. I am shocked to see so many people voted and could even remember these guys during their forgettable runs at mediocrity.

After speaking with a few people, some other ideas have been tossed around for future polls and competitions. I have heard some good ones, so we’ll see. Stay tuned…..

Best LCM 2nd Baseman, Shaun or Chad?

Wednesday, August 8th, 2007

I almost started this post with the title “Greatest LCM 2nd Baseman, Shaun or Chad?” The problem with that question is like asking who is the greatest runner-up in the Miss America pageant……who cares about 2nd basemen when the better athlete is at shortstop???

I am referring to Shaun Seago and Chad Kemp. Both guys dropped anchor at 2nd Base for the Little Cypress-Mauriceville Bears for a few years and both did a solid job. I would really like to see who gets more votes based on their play and not who gained 80 lbs the fastest after graduation. I would also not like to see it based on who is the shortest, who hit the least home runs, and who made the last out for their seasons.

**It will only allow 1 VOTE PER COMPUTER** (Change Computers for Multiple People Voting)

I bought NCAA ‘08 for XBox 360 last night and invited David over for his inaugural beating. There was a lot of jawing going on from both sides before the game and it quickly got quiet on one side. David, a.k.a. Mr. Beatdown, took one of the worst beatings I have ever seen or given and as you know…..I am a first degree Black Belt in Kick A$$.

In an attempt to make it fair, we had to pour sand in my eyes, tie my hands behind my back and I had to play with my teeth for the whole second half. This just managed to inspire me as I blindly put 3 more touchdowns on the board.

Here is the proof:
50 to Sh**house

Here is what it looks like after a 50-0 beatdown:
Technical Knockout

Here we had to call in the medics for CPR:
CPR for the Loser

As you can see, it got just plain UGLY……

Gabri and Tommy’s Return Party

Monday, July 9th, 2007

Lauren’s sister (my sister-in-law), Gabrielle, has finally moved back to Texas with the promotion of her husband Tommy (a.k.a. T-Jackhammer). We celebrated Saturday night at Bob’s Steak and Chop House and it was off the hook. We went back to my parents loft and played “Loaded Questions”. We were also lucky enough to see J-Knucks make David Blaine look like a community center magician. Incidentally, David and Morgan managed to take a PG-Rated family board game into a walk through the red light district of Amsterdam.

Here are the pics. There should be a few more later of the party afterwards because I will have to get them from someone else.

This Past Weekend at L’auberge Du Lac

Tuesday, June 19th, 2007

We headed out of Houston on Friday night and went to L’auberge Du Lac in Lake Charles, Louisiana for the weekend. Not long after getting there, Lauren lit them up for $1800 on the slot machines. We also brought the boat and spent all day Saturday wakeboarding in the back. Rooks met us out there and gave us all a lesson in what not to do on the wakeboard.
