Our Shirts Are Almost Famous
Last week You Design It had the honor of printing some shirts for MTV staff members attending the MTV Movie Awards. They wanted a saying printed on them that was an inside joke for an upcoming movie being released. We were glad to do them in short notice (got the order on Wednesday night) and shipped them to Cali for a Saturday delivery, the day before the awards show. That is a two-day turnaround for those of you scoring at home.
Lauren and I tuned in to the show on Sunday night and looked everywhere for our printed tees. We didn’t see them at all. Wah wah wahhhhhh.
But….I got an email today from our client at MTV showing us a screen shot that he’d received showing one of their group wearing one of the shirts. It took me a second to realize what part of the show this was. Yes sir! Our half second screen shot was right before Bruno landed on Enimem. Take a look at the diagram:

I am now so proud of our little t-shirt being so close to such an epic moment. I feel like a father whose son has just learned to ride a bike.

That’s really awesome, Snakes. Really really awesome.
So… you get any cool free stuff… or just a screen shot?

No free stuff, just the satisfaction of knowing our little t-shirt is all *growed* up.

Um no,… just curious. Thought maybe they wanted Lauren as a hot seat filler next year or something. It did seem like I was the only one congratulatory.
