This pompous guy needs to hit the campaign trail as the head speech writer for a Presidential candidate. Check this crap out: “I felt an obligation to get back to my team as soon as possible,” Pettitte said. “For this reason, and only this reason, for two days I tried human growth hormone. Though it was not against baseball rules, I was not comfortable with what I was doing, so I stopped.” “Everything else written or said about me knowingly using illegal drugs is nonsense, wrong and hurtful,” he said. “I have the utmost respect for baseball and have always tried to live my life in a way that would be honorable. I wasn’t looking for an edge; I was looking to heal.” Let’s break that down by each sentence: “I felt an obligation to get back to my team as soon as possible,” “For this reason, and only this reason, for two days I tried human growth hormone. Though it was not against baseball rules, I was not comfortable with what I was doing, so I stopped.” “Everything else written or said about me knowingly using illegal drugs is nonsense, wrong and hurtful,” “I have the utmost respect for baseball I wasn’t looking for an edge; I was looking to heal.” That’s some good stuff. Thanks for that Andy, you have cleared everything up for us. Let me apologize on behalf of America for thinking you did anything wrong. Have some more H.G.H. with your next meal. Texans Game on SundayMonday, December 10th, 2007Me, Darren, Ramos and Seago went to the Texans game on Sunday to partly watch the Texans and mainly support Matt Bryant. The game was good, the stadium felt great and Shaun got in free. Turns out, he is so small that we just told the lady he could sit in my lap and didn’t need a ticket. Worked like a charm…. Comments for Ricky HattonSunday, December 9th, 2007Hey Ricky Hatton, You almost had me convinced you were ready for the fight last night when you walked out to “Blue Moon” playing on the speakers. And when your fans boo’ed our National Anthem, it just confirmed to me that the fight wouldn’t even make it to a decision. When my boy Floyd walked out to “Born in the U.S.A.”, I almost started feeling a little sympathy for your ugly mug. Enjoy your flight back to England with a swollen face and a big L in your loss column. Blake |
