In San Diego right now staying at the Tower 23 Hotel. It’s been cool, got to meet with Cameron yesterday and we shredded the waves like freakin’ spaghetti.

I have a younger friend who prides himself in having game that girls can’t resist. I recently saw a message he sent to a girl on MySpace and here it is, copied and pasted:

“So why do you think it is there is this girl named lauren, that iu think is one very sexy very attractive lady!”

It now makes sense to me why it was so easy back when I was single. I want to apologize to all the girls out there who have ever had to hear some crap like that. Step your game up Rooks….

Thanksgiving couldn’t have been any better. I got to see plenty of family including my nephew Cool Hand Luc. That little guy is a G-In-Training.

Here is a few of the thanks that I had to give:

• thanks goes out to my friends for continually gaining weight and losing hair
• thanks to the weather for making me stay in and get some rest
• thanks to the trees at the back of the driving range or my golf balls would still be in flight
• thanks to my hands for making me one of the greatest Xbox players alive
• thanks to Spencer from the Hills for making all us guys look better to our significant others
• thanks to my customers for lighting up You Design It like a Christmas tree while we were off

There were plenty others that I’ve forgot or didn’t mention. Time to go to bed with San Diego swells on my mind….

We went surfing yesterday at Surfside, TX and I’m pretty sure Kelly Slater is not sleeping easy right now. I was accompanied by Rip Gurl and Big Z and they surfed as good as any groms should. I was on a 10′ foot Long Board and the waves were breaking about 2-3′ feet high. Hawaii doesn’t have anything on us.

I am giving a short pitch on You Design It tomorrow at Rice University to a room full of Venture Capitalists. Since I am in the unique situation of not needing funding, I am having some shirts printed for the occasion that may be less than trendy considering the average age of the VC’s. At least it will look like I am wearing a tie
